The initial phase of the process of revitalization of the large areal is a demolition of former military objects. The said works have begun 1st October 2021. The plan counts with demolition of 35 objects. The estimated cubic capacity of the aftermath demolition debris is 65,000 m3 (408,800 barrels).
The area’s purification process includes felling of overgrowth trees, clearance of all objects and its surroundings, demarcation of the engineering networks, and only then the actual demolition of all above-ground standing objects, and underground objects. The last phase will be backfilling of the excavation pits and its compaction.
The estimated date of the finish of the demolition works is fall of 2022.
